Notes: The 35' long church is considered to be one of the smallest in Wales. Archaeological excavations have been carried out recently on land surrounding the church. 'The origin of the church is unknown, but an early medieval beginning seems quite plausible' (CPAT). Finding this site requires a good map since Alltmawr does not appear on any signposts.
