Yews recorded at this site: Ancient 4m-5m

Notes: An area with many yews, planted and seeded. A very tall yew has been historically recorded here, with a height of 29m high and a girth of 7.1m. I was informed that the tree, which grew close to the pond/lake, came down in the hurricane of 1987, along with many other tall specimen and other trees.
