Notes: There is a small parking space on Broadtown Hill at SU098774. From here I walked up the track towards Cockroost Farm, then NNW to the escarpment edge. I did not descend the escarpment but followed round (not on footpath) the field edge until I met the footpath coming up from the White Horse Trail. A slippy descent for approx 200 mtrs and then on my left I could see yews growing along the top of a disused chalk quarry, shown here. Heading back to the footpath I carried on down the descent to reach the largest yew in this area.
