Notes: This is an ancient trackway, once the main route in and out of Boxley when travelling to or from Bredhurst. It was used up to at least the early part of the 17th century. The site is acknowledged as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and described by English Nature as climax woodland that has evolved naturally, spreading out from the old drove roads.
