Notes: The church is described as pre-Norman and it is thought that it 'may have been associated with St Cynidr'. The dedication to the Blessed Virgin is medieval. The church is a 19th-century structure, rebuilt in 1829. The tower may date from around 1600 and the font from the 12th century. As well as an avenue of younger yews either side of the path leading to the church, three older yews grow almost in line on the south side of the church. There is also an intriguing yew of which only its old sapwood shell remains.
