Notes: The small Baptist chapel in Capel-y-ffin was built in 1762 by David and William Prosser. It is situated about 100m east of St Mary's church. After crossing the River Honddu the chapel, a small whitewashed building, is found on the left. There are conflicting accounts of the age of this site, some suggesting that it dates back to the earliest recorded Baptist presence in Wales in the 1640s. One of the three yew trees found here would appear to be over 300 years in age.
