Notes: The yew grows on the south side of the church. The present building is 19th century. In Arcisse de Caumont's 1857 Statistique monumental du Calvados, vol 3, p56 he recorded that 'in the cemetery of Estry, there is a hollow yew with an internal diameter of 3,10 meters measured 1 meter above the soil. It is said that it can contain fifteen people'. This equates to an internal girth of 9m 74cm.
