Notes: Two yews grow by the moat at Henden Manor, a Tudor manor house which was probably built between 1470 and 1490. At one time it was owned by Henry VIII, who gave it to Thomas Boleyn in 1521. Following the beheading of Anne in 1536 the property was transferred to Mary Boleyn. It is possible that the trees could have been planted when the house was built. There is no public access to this site though the trees can be seen from an adjacent footpath.
