Notes: Peter Norton: The present Church building is believed to have been constructed early in the 14th Century. It was restored in 1885 and 1923. Inside the church is a font that was found buried in the churchyard. It is the oldest in Devon, possibly late Saxon or early Norman. Two yews grow here, the oldest at the far west end of the churchyard and a younger specimen SE.
