Notes: Two yews have disappeared from this site. In the 1875 Penny Post it was recorded that 'there are two very venerable yew-trees growing in Lydney churchyard, Glos'. By 1944 only one remained, which Cornish recorded as 'an old yew with hollow trunk'.
