Notes: From Pishill village go half a mile southeast along the road and reach Hollandridge Lane. This is an ancient sunken lane (now a restricted byway) that used to link Stoner Park with Christmas Common. There is enough room to park a car just off the B480 at the start of this lane. Then head north and within five minutes is the first of a line of yew that cling to the top of the bank and hang precariously by their roots over the lane.
