Notes: The deconsecrated church has been converted to a private residence. I do not know who owns the land where the tree grows, which is currently freely accessible. A forest of elder had recently been cut down making it possible to record the tree. It grows SE of the church building. A History of the County of Hertford (1908) described the church of St Botolph as standing in 'a large churchyard with some particularly fine yew trees on the west and south sides'.
