Notes: This is part of the Trafalgar Park estate. The private church, once owned by the descendents of Lord Nelson, has been closed since 1947 when the Nelson family sold the Trafalgar Estate. Their graves are still on view. It is thought that a church dedicated to St. Mary was founded here in 1147. This was largely rebuilt in 1677, with further restoration in the 19th century. Access is by public footpath. Four yews grow to the south and east of the church.
