Notes: There were once no fewer than six yews of similar size to the lone survivor we see today, which grows SW of the church. The church website states that 'the tower and the nave are basically Saxon, about 1050, but altered in Norman times and during the 12th and 13th centuries'. It was damaged in the 1987 storm, which also destroyed two yews.
