Notes: Originally the site of a monastery or convent in the heart of the Cathar region of France. It is also on one of the routes taken by the knights travelling to the Holy Land at the time of the crusades. The present house was built using stone from a neaby chateau demolished centuries ago. Parts of the house are thought to be 300/500 years old.
