Notes: This translates as 'the yew-tree layland'. The site was described in 1905 as 'a farmhouse on the east side of the Llanishen Road, at the third milestone north from Cardiff, on the heath'. After locating the site on an O/S 1st edition map, it was possible to pinpoint it on a modern aerial photograph, using the railway and the curving road on the north side as two distinguishing points. The aerial photo shows the site in 2009, while google streetview shows that the site is now occupied by Whitchurch Lidl.
