Notes: The yews are in the garden of a National Trust property. The many generations of Brownes, who owned the property, kept meticulous records and include the following entry: 'The yew trees were planted in 1736, by Tony Benson, and his son, costing the Brownes two shillings'. The yews grow in a slightly curved line SW of the house. They are shown here as two entries, each entry consisting of six trees either side of the path.
