Notes: Usher Wood is on the west side of the A6102 between Oughtibridge and Wharncliffe Side. It is privately owned and forms part of a boundary between neighbouring properties. There was quarrying in Usherwood in the past, probably from 1780 when the house of the present owners was built for the quarry master.
