Notes: The church is well away from the village, between Vernham Manor and Vernham Street. Its history is not known as it burnt down in the 19th century and was rebuilt in 1851. It does contain an 11th century Norman doorway but this is thought to have come from St Mary's in Andover which was demolished by the Victorians around the same time. All the older houses in the village date from the Jacobean times (1600s). Three large yews are recorded here.
