Notes: This English Heritage site (paying) is reached via ferry only on certain days between April and September. From the ferry a walk of about 50m passes two younger yews, before reaching the site, hidden from casual gaze by more yews. Here is found a truly fantastic 12th century oratory chapel carved in one piece into the red sandstone cliff. This has been extended and added to until the 15th century.
