Notes: Built in about 1669, this is considered to be an almost perfect example of a plain Gothic church of that time. Its 12 yews, known as the 12 Apostles, are neatly arranged in three lines on the south, east and west perimeters of the churchyard, while a 13th grows to the NE. The largest girthed tree, which girths 11' 4'', is female and nearest to the church, while the two yews growing next to it girth 7' 2'' and 7' 11''.
