Notes: This location is close to Yewtree Pit Cottage (as marked on the 1:2500 map). In Milnes map of 1791 this spot appears to be at the southern end of a long narrow wood. Three of four yews found here are recorded. It is unfortunate that this pit has been a magnet for fly tippers for a long time.
