Notes:January 2003 -Tim Hills: Girth of 14′ 9” (450cm) at 1′. Indications are that this has been larger girthed are confirmed by Peter Norton’s photos of 2014, in which sections of the old sapwood shell can be seen enclosing an internal stem which has replaced the decayed heartwood.
September 2014 – Peter Norton: Three yews grow here, the largest at the SW corner of the churchyard. It is a male tree girthing 14′ 11” (454cm) at about 1′. South of the church is a young male and NE a young female, both with estimated girths of around 9′. For more information go to the Diocese of Gloucester webpage.
