Notes:April 2004 – Tim Hills: Spreading roots support this yew. A large branch has developed almost at right angles to the tree’s two main upright branches – this is a typical feature of trees growing at the edge of steeply sloping ground. Girth was exactly 18′ (549cm) at the higher ground on land that slopes away steeply.
