Notes:June 2000 – Tim Hills: The unusual shape has formed as the tree recovers from significant branch loss. Above the hollow at about 8′ is an outpouring of branches. It was measured between the ground and 2′ to obtain minimum girth of 20′ 7” (627cm).
August 2006 – Tim Hills: Tree in excellent condition.
2017 – Paul Wood: A yew bursting with twiggy growth. The small amount of ivy would be easy to remove. Girth at 1′, the smallest available, was 20′ 9” (632cm).
