Notes:

March 2004 -Tim Hills: A hollow tree, the space closing over at a height of about 10′. Girth of 16′ 3” (495cm) at 1′ recorded.
September 2012 – Peter Norton: A notice in the church indicated that the tree had been transplanted from the vicarage garden in the 1700’s. The tree is hollow with a fine display of internal growth. It has a healthy looking crown. Measured at 9” (as taken from the west side of the tree where there is some natural thinning) a girth of 16′ 10” (513cm) was recorded.
