Notes:July 2017 – Hugo Egleston: Each of these 7 yews, of which several are Notable, was measured at the height of least girth. The 1st is male with a girth of 12’4” near the base and included some dead ivy stems. It is found a NGR SU4009325058 on a wood bank with several lime near by. The 2nd is male with a girth of 12′ 4” at 2′ and is found at SU4035024217. The 3rd is female with a girth of 12′ 2” at 6”, found at SU4029024294. The 4th is male with a girth of 11′ 10” at 3′. It is found at SU397240. The 5th is male with a girth of 13′ 9” at 2′ and 14′ 2” around the base. It is found at SU396240. The 6th had a girth of 11′ 7” at 2′ and is found at SU3961024096, one hundred yards west of the veteran yew and well off the track. The 7th is male with a girth of 13′ 10” at 2′. It is found at SU3993824945.
