Notes:July 2012 Wim Peeters: The yew measured 4.85 m (15′ 11”) at 130 cm. The tree has been left a small corner as a growing place. The stem seems to have no cavities. Young shoots on the stem have been cut. The tree has recently been pruned and dead branches removed. No harsh pruning has occurred.
July 2018 Tim Hills: The yew measured 4.96 m (16′ 3”) at 30cm. Old sapwood makes up 1.10 m of this. Behind this the tree is becoming hollow, and this will be revealed when the sapwood eventually decays.
