Notes:October 1997 – Tim Hills: Tree 3. Two sections at ground level combine at 4’/6′. The trunk has a fluted appearance. Girth of 18′ 6” (564cm) at the ground recorded.
2012 Tim Hills: On the side of the tree away from the church was discovered a single male branch on this otherwise female tree. The branch could be traced to the point where it divides, with one side becoming female and the other male (photo 6). Girth was recorded over thick stems of ivy and 19′ 0” (579cm) was recorded. Ivy can be seen high in the tree (photo 5).
2016 – Paul Wood: The tree had yellowy green foliage. Its deep purple/red coloured bole is a horseshoe shape. Girth was 19′ 2” (584cm).
