Tree sex: female
Date of visit: 31-Oct-97
Source of earliest mention: 1939: The King's England - Arthur Mee
Notes:October 1997 – Tim Hills: Tree 5 forms part of the churchyard wall. Hollow and leaning. 17′ 6″ recorded at the top of the wall.
2016 Paul Wood: The tree had plenty of new growth and looked well. The large, twisted, gnarled whitewood section on the north side of the tree hides its hollow interior. It will eventually be horseshoe shaped. The wall prevented girth measurement.
