Notes:

September 1997 – Tim Hills: NW of the church and on the left in the photograph, the female is the larger of the two Ashill yews. Several thick branches rise from a short bole, hidden behind ivy. Girth was 19′ 9” (602cm) at 1′.
June 2014 – Peter Norton: Of the two yews that grow here the largest is female, found opposite the northwest side of the tower. It is hollowing and partially fragmenting with three distinct areas of growth. Ivy surrounds the lower bole and the girth of 20′ 4” (620cm) may be slightly exaggerated.
