April 2006 – Tim Hills: The tree is full canopied and healthy, with a hollow from ground to 4 feet on the side facing the house. The yew is in the early process of hollowing. Measured in 1998 the bole was 23′ 9” (723cm) minimum near base, and 25′ 3” (770cm) at 3′ from the ground.
May 2021 Brynley Andrews: Full crown – well balanced and 10 percent denuded. Average health, pollarded in the 1960s. About 20 percent decay. Girth 25′ 3”/7.706m at about 10cm from soil level. 7.70 is average of three measurements
