It was recorded in Meredith’s gazetteer (found in The Sacred Yew by Chetan and Brueton – 1994) with a girth of 14′.
October 2007 – Ian Robert Brown: Tree leans at 45 degrees. A hollow shell with living sapwood running under the old hollow shell in strips. Good spread of foliage with many young limbs and branches. Tree appears in good health despite initial appearance. A second prop has been introduced since the tree was recorded in 1999.
