Tree ID: 3882

Yews recorded: Ancient 4m-5m

Tree girth: 465cm

Girth height: at 5cm

Tree sex: male

Date of visit: 16-Mar-12

Source of earliest mention: 2012: Lin Carter

Notes:

March 2012 – Lin Carter: The original bole is long gone and the 5 massive trunks rise from a common bole. One appears to be the internal trunk, as it is forked at the base (from its original root state). The crown is wide-spreading and trimmed.
July 2015 – Peter Norton: From the north entrance and approaching the church is this recently ‘trimmed’ male yew. It appears to consist of two main areas of growth along with side branches. Girth was 15′ 3″ (465cm) close to the ground.
