Source of earliest mention: 2015: Paul Wood

Notes:

September 2015 – Paul Wood: The more northerly of the pair is split into two growing areas of multiple branches. There has been regular trimming of lower limbs to keep the gateway clear. When some of the ivy and dead twigs had been cleared, there was an impression that this yew might have once been larger, that perhaps it had been at some stage cut down to the ground. Another possibility seemed to be that the build up of rubbish and dead twigs and leaves buried a short bole. What is seen here was measured at ground level and 13′ 10” (4.22 m) was recorded.
