A vast layering tree, described in Treefest Scotland as an ‘ever-increasing circle of new growth enclosing the mother tree’. A gap in the outer foliage allows access to the original tree. For more information go to http://www.treefestscotland.org.uk. Judy Dowling 2011: One main central stem with very long layering branches. Situated in front of the house which is now a hotel. This is a public park and there is open access to the tree.
