Notes:July 2000 – Tim Hills: Tree SE3 has a twisting fluted bole of fine appearance. Three large branches have been removed at a height of about 6’/8′. A few feet higher the main branch has been truncated and smaller branches rise to take its place. Girths of 12′ 11” (394cm) at 4′ and 12′ 10” (391cm) at 5′ recorded.
2012 – Peter Norton: Girths of 13′ 5” (409cm) at 2′ and 12′ 11” (394cm) at 4′ recorded. Nails in the trunk at the height of 2′ have been removed, but a new nail has been hammered in at 4′.
