Notes:SW of the church. Closeness to the church door has led to much cutting back of lower growth, leading to formidable bulging at a height of about 4′. Girth here is 10′ greater than that recorded at the ground.
In2003 I recorded 13′ 0” (396cm) at its narrowest point and close to 23′ (701cm) at 4′.
When measured by David Counsell in 1992 it was 13′ 2” (401cm) at 3′ and 23′ 0” (701cm) at 4′.
