Notes:

1998 Information sent to David Bellamy included a girth of 16′ 8” (508cm) at 4′ and 16′ 7½” (507cm) at 5′.
May 2013 – Peter Norton: Girth of 16′ 10” (513cm) at 1′ 6”.
2015 – Tim Hills: Girths of exactly 18′ (549) at a height of about 20” where some nails had been hammered into the bole and 17′ 1” (521cm) at 4′.
May 2013 – Peter Norton: The yew grows just southwest of the church porch. It is hollow with some partial loss of the outer shell on the south side. Four small internal stems are evident on the east side of the bole and the partial remains of a chain are embedded in the bole at about 8′. Girth was recorded as 16′ 10” (513cm) at 1′ 6”.
