Notes:

June 1999 – Russell Cleaver: 27′ 3” (8.31 at 1.1m) On the east side of the church, Saxon, old site. Hollow with a wide crown.
January 2000 – Tim Hills: A vast hollow tree. According to local tradition it sheltered a family in medieval times. Girth 28′ 4” (864cm) at the ground and 27′ 2″ (828cm) at 3′.
18/11/2005 – Tim Hills: I was informed that yew suffered severe damage in one of the storms of the 1980s, losing several branches.
