June 2002 – Tim Hills: What remains of the 4th yew is hidden deep in grass and bracken.
February 2015: An article in British Wildlife, pp 178-182 by Maurice Pankhurst, Stuart A’Hara and Joan Cottrell tells us that this yew was uprooted in a storm of 1866.
