Notes:

January 1994: The yew was given an estimated age of 1,000 years by Allen Meredith and a certificate was sent to the church by the Conservation Foundation’s Country Living Yew Tree Campaign.
April 2002 – Tim Hills: This part shell indicates that it is probably a fragment of a once much larger tree. A portion of the original trunk can be seen on the inner surface of the new growth. Girth was 16′ 4” (498cm) near the ground.
May 2005 – Cliff Hansford: As well as the large female photographed here, there are 5 further churchyard yews ranging from 7′ 10” to 10′ 6” in girth and another just outside the churchyard with a girth above 14′ at 5′.
