Notes:Here is an old moss covered male growing on top of the steep bank overlooking the path which also forms part of Broughton, Buckholt and Nether Wallop parish boundaries. It has the appearance of leaning to one side with two main trunks and possibly a third. On the south side its roots spread sinuously across the top of the bank. Foliage was sparse and the bark has peeled away in many places. The girth was measured at the lowest point possible but the 13′ (396cm) recorded can only be treated as a guide.
