Notes:May 2002 – Tim Hills: A hollow yew closing over by a height of about 6′. Above this many thick branches. Ivy covered the lower part of the bole, hiding its features. What could be seen was the bulge at a height of 4′ and a hollow space closing over at a height of about 6′, from which point many thick branches develop. Girth was 14′ 9” (450cm) at 1′.
Revisiting in 2015 the ivy had been cleared and it was possible to photograph the features of the tree. Girth was 15′ and half an inch at 1′ (458cm).
May 2021- Brynley Andrews: A girth of 513cm at 80cm recorded for this yew which is multi stemmed above a height of 2.5m. There is a large cavity with 30 percent decay on its NW side. Tree in good health.
