Notes:

October 1997 – Tim Hills: Large girth is retained to a greater height than is usual. The yew has a cavity at its base. A girth of 19′ 4” (589cm) at 3′ was recorded. Above 3ft is much twiggy growth.
1999 – Tim Hills: Remeasured and recorded 18′ 5” (561cm) close to the ground and 19′ 4” (589cm) at 3′.
October 2012 – Tim Hills: 18′ 7” (566cm) close to the ground and 19′ 5½” (593cm) at 3′. This is an increase of 2” since October 1997.
Also in 2012 a girth of 19′ 5½” (593cm) was recorded at 3′.
