Notes:Tim Hills – March 2004: A clean bole with no signs of hollowing. Many branches in centre and around edges of bole from 4′ and upwards. Girth 15′ 2” (462cm) at the ground.
September 2012 – Peter Norton: South of the church and close to the south east corner perimeter at Google maps 50.908075,-0.555499. The tree is on sloping ground overlooking the road below. Measured from the top of the slope a girth of 15′ 8” (478cm) was recorded.
