Notes:This is the most northerly of the trees (A on the plan) at SO45044976. At first glance it appears no more than a few young branches of a developing hedge. Closer examination revealed what appears to be the last remnants of the rotting shell of what was once a massive yew. The full size of the former bole was visible and the remaining shell shows its shape to have been roughly a stretched oval. My guess was of a girth between 28′ and 35′.
