Notes:The yew is carried upwards on one main branch, while a 2nd one next to it is dead. This dead section can be traced from where it has been sawn off back to the ground. It will eventually decay and that part of the tree will become hollow. Bark was particularly light in colour. Foliage was poor. Girths of 16′ 2” (493cm) at 1′ and 14′ 9” (450cm) at 3′ were recorded.
