The girth at the ground of seven of these yews is given as 11′ 5”, 10′ 0”, 10′ 0”, 11′ 5”, 11′ 5”, 11′ 6” and 10′ 3”.
2000-2005: Aubrey Fennell recorded one yew having a girth of 430cm (14′ 1”) at 120cm.
2010: Described by the Tree Register of Ireland as a three rowed yew avenue. One of the yews had a girth of 3.91m (12′ 10”). The trees seemed to be recovering well from a controversial severe crown reduction carried out in 1998.
