Notes:March 1999 – Tim Hills: WNW of the church is an unmeasurable yew consisting of two fragments, one supporting vigorous growth, the second appearing dead, but with a single thin slither of live wood which bursts into growth at the highest point of the tree. It is a fine illustration of the tenacious nature of the yew.
